Overview

Location:** UAE

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum **10 years of accounting experience**, including at least **5 years in the UAE**.
• **Proven hands-on experience in the Construction/Contracting industry is mandatory. Applications without construction industry experience will not be considered.**
• Excellent knowledge of **UAE Corporate Tax**, **VAT**, and all applicable UAE financial regulations.
• Strong practical experience with modern accounting software, including **Zoho Books**, **QuickBooks**, and ERP accounting systems.
• Solid experience in **project accounting, job costing, subcontractor accounting, retention accounting, cost control, and construction financial management**.
• Extensive experience in **reviewing supplier invoices**, verifying supporting documents, purchase orders, delivery notes, payment certificates, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all accounting records before processing payments.
• Thorough knowledge of **General Ledger, Journal Entries, Chart of Accounts, Trial Balance, Bank Reconciliations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Month-End and Year-End Closing**.
• Strong ability to prepare and analyze **Financial Statements**, including **Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, Cash Flow Statement**, and management reports.
• **Excellent command of English (written and spoken) is mandatory.**
• **Knowledge of Hindi or Urdu will be a strong advantage.**
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA, etc.) are preferred.
