About The Role
We are a Dubai-based interior design and furniture company looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team.
You will manage day-to-day financial operations and keep our books accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Manage petty cash, ensuring proper recording and reconciliation
- Handle purchase orders and vendor bills accurately and on time
- Keep Zoho Books organized, updated, and audit-ready at all times
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Handle VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
- Coordinate with vendors and clients on invoicing and payments
- Support audits and year-end closing activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (experience in retail, furniture, or interior design is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with **Zoho Books** is required
- Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Fluency in **English and Hindi** is required
- Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
