About This Role
Hiring: Accountant (Marine Industry – Chartering)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have relevant UAE experience and preferably exposure to marine operations, including bareboat and time charter activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and UAE financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Working knowledge of UAE VAT filing, corporate tax compliance, and accounting entries
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience in a marine company, especially in bareboat or time charter operations, is an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare periodic financial statements and reports
- Manage invoicing, collections, payments, and bank reconciliations
- Record and monitor charter-related transactions (bareboat/time charter)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulatory requirements
- Assist with audits and tax filings (VAT and corporate tax)

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
