About This Role
Position: Accountant
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: Up to AED 7,000
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, invoicing, and reconciliations.
- Maintain and update general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable .
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports .
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow .
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting .
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT returns.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial records .
- Monitor expenses and ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting .
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting .
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making insights .
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and UAE VAT regulations .
- Experience with accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, Odoo, SAP, QuickBooks, Tally).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools .
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks .
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
