Job Title: Freelance Finance & Accounting Specialist – Dubai
Location: Dubai, UAE (Freelance)
About Us:
We are a growing interior organizing company in Dubai. We are looking for a freelance Finance & Accounting Specialist to manage our accounting, payroll, VAT, and financial reporting using Odoo.
Responsibilities
- Work fully in Odoo, maintaining a clean chart of accounts and proper tagging (projects, clients, product vs service).
- Record weekly income and expenses, reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash.
- Track supplier invoices, prepare weekly payables lists, and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare and submit monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports with insights.
- Ensure VAT compliance and file returns with the Federal Tax Authority.
- Process monthly payroll via WPS and ADCB.
- Maintain audit-ready records and support external audits if required.
Requirements
- Freelance professional based in Dubai
- Strong experience with Odoo accounting
- UAE VAT knowledge and compliance experience
- WPS payroll experience
- Detail-oriented and responsive weekly
Deliverables
Weekly: Updated books, reconciliations, payables list, cash flow status
Monthly: Financial reports submitted, payroll processed, VAT prepared
Quarterly: VAT filing
Optional: 30-minute monthly finance review call
