Role Purpose
As an Accountant at CASA PONS, you will support the company’s financial operations by ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and compliance with financial regulations.
You will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, assist in financial reporting, and contribute to maintaining financial integrity across the organization.
Your role
is key in supporting smooth financial processes and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in cash flow tracking and budget monitoring.
- Reconciling bank statements and company accounts regularly.
- Supporting the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Processing and recording daily financial transactions accurately.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation for all transactions.
- Assisting in payroll calculations, adjustments, and maintaining related records.
- Assisting in financial analysis and reporting to support management decisions.
- Preparing and posting journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
- Supporting internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with VAT regulations, assisting in filing returns, and maintaining proper tax records.
- Monitoring accounts receivable and payable and ensuring timely follow-ups and reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A responsible and ethical approach to financial management.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Basic to strong understanding of UAE VAT and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., TALLY, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in retail, FMCG, or trading sectors.
