About This Role
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with regulations.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting activities, and contributing to the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- **Financial Management:**
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
- **Accounts Payable & Receivable:**
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Oversee billing, invoicing, and collection processes.
- **Budgeting & Forecasting:**
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Provide accurate financial forecasts and variance analyses.
- **Taxation & Compliance:**
- Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and accounting standards.
- **Audits & Reporting:**
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
- Generate periodic financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- **System & Process Improvement:**
- Enhance accounting processes and systems for improved efficiency.
- Maintain and update financial software and records.
Qualifications
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- **Experience:** Minimum of [X] years of relevant accounting experience.
- **Certifications (preferred):** CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- **Knowledge:** Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and local tax regulations.
