Role Description
The Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This position is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, preparing and reconciling ledgers, and maintaining accurate financial records.
The role involves preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, supporting budget preparation, and assisting with audits and compliance requirements.
The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flow, and ensure adherence to internal controls and local regulatory standards.
The individual will collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and contribute to process improvements.

Accountant
to join our growing finance team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
- Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payment transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly accruals and prepayments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
- Process payroll-related accounting entries where required.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate records and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable financial regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Qulified/Part Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
