Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate reporting in compliance with UAE regulations.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and MIS reporting, along with proficiency in accounting software such as Tally.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled
- Prepare
- financial statements
- including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules
- Prepare and monitor
- cash flow statements
- and liquidity positions
- Handle
- accounts payable and receivable
- , including reconciliations
- Generate periodic
- MIS reports
- for management review and decision-making
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Assist in
- VAT filings and returns
- , ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
- Monitor financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum
- 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of
Tally
- Solid understanding of financial reporting and bookkeeping principles
- Basic knowledge of
- VAT regulations in the UAE
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working in the UAE or GCC region
- Familiarity with ERP systems (added advantage)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
