Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Enter, post, and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Issue client invoices and maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records.
• Develop and maintain accounting systems by establishing a chart of accounts and defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
• Verify, allocate, and post transactions to subsidiary accounts.
• Reconcile subsidiary accounts and ensure account balances are accurate.
• Maintain complete financial and historical records.
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting information and trends.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local financial regulations by preparing and filing required reports.
• Assist with accounting, auditing, taxation, and other finance-related projects as required.
• Support the finance team and perform any other duties assigned by the organization.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in **Accounting, Finance, or a related field**.
• Minimum **2 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience** is preferred.
• **Hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime is mandatory.**
• Experience working with **Bazar Accounting System** is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of **Accounts Payable (AP)**, **Accounts Receivable (AR)**, bank reconciliation, and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, perform under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Business-level English communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• High level of integrity, initiative, professionalism, and teamwork.
