About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of transactions in accordance with IFRS.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and investigate, analyze, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Analyze daily revenue and financial data to identify anomalies, variances, or irregularities.
• Maintain accurate records for profit and loss, balance sheet items, assets, and liabilities.
• Monitor and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
• Administer payment transactions, including cheque preparation, coordination of authorized signatories, and proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT requirements, and company accounting policies.
• Assist with VAT filings, reconciliations, and supporting schedules as required.
• Coordinate and prepare documentation for internal and external audits, acting as a key point of support during audit processes.
• Ensure strict confidentiality and integrity of all financial and company information.
• Support continuous improvement of accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
• Handle general administrative accounting tasks, including data entry, verification, filing, and document management.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Finance
• Minimum
• 2–4 years of accounting experience in Dubai
• (mandatory).
• ACCA / CA / CPA / CMA certifications preferred.
• Strong working knowledge and practical application of

IFRS

• Experience in the real estate or property development industry is a strong advantage.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and accounting/ERP systems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
