Accountant Required

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years and maximum 4 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
• Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Zoho Books or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to prepare and manage Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), contracts, and expenses.
• Experience in handling and verifying accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
• Follow-up on outstanding receivables and collection of payments from clients.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare periodic financial and management reports for senior management.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare collection and payment reports.
• Assist in monthly and annual account closing procedures.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Experience in preparing and filing Value Added Tax (VAT) returns.
• Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with external auditors and government authorities when required.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in service, advertising, or real estate companies.
• Valid UAE driving license.
