They engage in a wide range of businesses spanning multiple industries, organized into eight specialized segments: Energy & Power Solution, Materials Solution, Mineral Resources, Urban Development & Infrastructure, Mobility, Food Industry and Smart-Life Creation.
Currently we are hiring an
Accountant
(for 12-month contract) for our client in Dubai.
Duration: 12-month
Working Days: 4.5 days per week
Responsibilities
- Provide general accounting support to MID and regional office, which includes but not limited to:
- Processing payments, invoices, and vouchers in accordance with standard policies & guidelines; checking for completeness and obvious errors;
- Prepare daily input to accounting system, support monthly closing, petty cash management and generating accounting related reports,
- Prepare and implement changes in bookkeeping and books maintenance in compliance to CIT filing and TP requirements
- Ensure all appropriate records are maintained; updated on a regular basis; stored in a way that enables easy access and retrieval,
- Make and receive telephone calls, send and receive e-mails following the required protocols; ensure communication with internal and external parties are carried out effectively and in a professional manner maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality,
- Plan, organize and carry out work to meet the requirements of the department; continually looking for ways to improve performance,
- Offer general accounting and administrative support for tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior depending upon the requirement of the business.
- Any other tasks assigned by Manager from time to time
- Ensuring compliance to the accounting timelines
- Negotiating to settle the tax/Audit/Banking issue with counter person
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in management/ accounting
- Over 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with a multinational with regional operations.
