Accountant

**Premier Brains Global** is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented **Accountant** to join our finance team.

This role is ideal for someone who is strong in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance with UAE accounting and VAT regulations.

✔ Maintain and update the general ledger, journal entries, and supporting schedules

✔ Prepare accurate **monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements**

✔ Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, intercompany accounts, and other ledgers

✔ Conduct variance analysis and report financial insights to management

✔ Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely payments

✔ Monitor accounts receivable, prepare aging reports, and follow up on outstanding dues

✔ Handle supplier and client reconciliations

✔ Assist in closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, amortizations, and provisions

✔ Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

✔ Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits

✔ Prepare, review, and file **VAT returns** accurately and on time

✔ Maintain proper tax documentation and ensure compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations

✔ Support in corporate tax documentation (if applicable)

✔ Maintain organized accounting files and documentation for audit readiness

✔ Implement and follow internal control processes

✔ Assist in developing and improving accounting procedures

✔ Manage petty cash and employee expense reimbursements

✔ Support management with financial analysis and special projects

✔ Liaise with banks, vendors, clients, and internal teams as needed

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Professional qualifications such as **ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA** (preferred but not mandatory)
