Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with at least 2 years of UAE experience.
The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting the company’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records (invoices, receipts, payments)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT returns
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning
- Process payroll and employee reimbursements
- Coordinate with auditors and assist during audits
- Maintain general ledger and journal entries
- Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving measures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum **2 years of UAE accounting experience (mandatory)**
- Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books)
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA – preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in UAE-based companies or audit firms
