Accountant

As part of our growth, we are strengthening our finance function to support operational scale, financial control, and compliance across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

We are seeking an Accountant to join our growing team, based in Dubai.

This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting the company’s financial planning and reporting requirements.

You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring strong financial controls are in place.

This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently while supporting a fast-growing, international business.

You’ll work closely with leadership to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and ensure the company operates efficiently from a financial and compliance perspective.

· Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation

· Prepare management reports, forecasts, and financial figures to support leadership, board, and investor reporting requirements

· Manage payroll processes and ensure timely and accurate salary payments

· Support budgeting and forecasting processes, tracking actuals against forecasts

· Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, corporate tax requirements (including VAT where applicable), and financial reporting standards

· Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure effective financial management

· Maintain and manage compliance calendars, filings, and reporting requirements across relevant regulatory authorities and platforms (including the FTA portal)

· Coordinate with external partners, auditors, tax advisors, and corporate service providers on compliance, reporting, and audit requirements

· Implement and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures

· Support invoicing, revenue tracking and financial administration across multiple projects and jurisdictions

· Work closely with leadership to provide financial insights and improve operational efficiency

· 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and compliance requirements

·

working in the UAE or familiarity with UAE financial regulations is preferred

· Familiarity with DIFC and UAE Free Zone company structures is a plus

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.

Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Excel

· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

· Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with senior leadership and external stakeholders

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

· Professional qualifications (e.g.

ACCA, ACA, CIMA) are preferred but not essential
