Overview

Accounting & Finance Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger, in accordance with company policies and UAE accounting standards.
• Prepare and issue client invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring billing details align with contractual terms, approved timesheets, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers and internal teams to verify billable work, supporting documentation, and cost allocations before issuing invoices.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and proactively follow up with clients to ensure timely payment, maintaining proper documentation of payment communications and status.
• Track incoming and outgoing payments, monitor cash flow, and report potential cash flow issues to management to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Prepare and submit
• VAT returns and Corporate Tax filings in accordance with UAE regulations
• , including reconciliation of VAT-related transactions and proper documentation for tax compliance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, supporting budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Ensure accurate payroll processing and proper management of employee reimbursements in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing financial schedules, documentation, and explanations as required.
• Maintain organized financial and administrative records to support accounting and reporting functions.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers regarding invoices, payments, and documentation.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Mandatory 2-3 years UAE experience in VAT return filing and Corporate Tax preparation.
• Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations and financial compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality when handling financial information.
