About This Role
Overview
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.
The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting procedures, VAT regulations, and financial record management.
Key Responsibilities
· Preparation of cheques and maintaining proper records of Post-Dated Cheques (PDCs).
· Recording and maintaining PDC entries in accounting ledgers.
· Preparation of journal entries and general accounting records.
· Preparation and issuance of tax invoices.
· Maintaining Statements of Account (SOA) for all projects and clients.
· Uploading and updating invoices on client portals.
· Monitoring receivables, follow-up of payments, and reconciliation of accounts.
· Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations and their implementation.
· Coordination with management regarding VAT and Corporate Tax filing and submissions.
· Maintaining accurate accounting documents, files, and financial records.
· Assisting in monthly closing, financial reporting, and audit requirements.
· Preparing payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, and supporting documents.
· Coordination with clients, suppliers, banks, and internal departments regarding accounts matters.
· Performing other accounts and administrative duties assigned by management.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience preferred.
· Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
· Familiarity with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax procedures.
· Good communication and organizational skills.
Pay: Up to AED3,500.00 per month
