Role overview

Accounting responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, maintain payable records, track outstanding balances, and coordinate payments.
• Prepare customer invoices, monitor outstanding payments, follow up on collections, and maintain customer accounts.
• Record purchases, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and verify transactions.
• Maintain general ledger records and update accounting systems.
• Organise invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other financial documents.
• Reconcile supplier and customer statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with financial reports, outstanding payment summaries, and monthly accounting statements.
• Provide routine accounting and administrative support to the finance department.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail; able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous accounting experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and basic accounting procedures is preferred.
• Invoice processing and payment follow-up experience is preferred.
• Communication and coordination skills are preferred.
