Overview
Universal Telecom FZCO is looking to hire a detail-oriented and responsible individual to join our finance team as an Accountant Assistant **(familiar with Oracle).**
Key Responsibilities
- Record, review, and maintain accounting documents and records
- Perform daily entries in the financial system **(Oracle)**
- Prepare periodic financial reports (daily/monthly)
- Follow up on accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Support the accounting team during audits
- Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Familiarity or experience with **Oracle software** (preferred)
- knowledge of Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a team and manage time effectively
- Basic understanding of financial reporting
