About This Role

Universal Telecom FZCO is looking to hire a detail-oriented and responsible individual to join our finance team as an Accountant Assistant (familiar with Oracle).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record, review, and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Perform daily entries in the financial system (Oracle)
  • Prepare periodic financial reports (daily/monthly)
  • Follow up on accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Support the accounting team during audits
  • Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Familiarity or experience with Oracle software (preferred)
  • knowledge of Excel
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a team and manage time effectively
  • Basic understanding of financial reporting
