Accountant Assistant

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Record and process sales, customer invoices, and supplier invoices in Odoo ERP.
• Monitor accounts payable and ensure suppliers are paid on time.
• Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding customer invoices.
• Reconcile daily sales and assist with cash register closing procedures.
• Count and verify cash collections and prepare daily cash reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing basic financial and management reports.
• Monitor cash balances and provide updates to management.
• Support inventory and sales reporting as required.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Experience using ERP systems; Odoo experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information.
• 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience preferred.
• Note: The Accounting Assistant will not have authority over company bank accounts or banking transactions but will have visibility of financial information necessary to perform their duties.
