The Junior Accountant supports daily finance work in a distribution business.
Accounting and bookkeeping
- Record daily sales, purchase, and expense transactions; maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Invoicing, payments, and inventory
- Issue client sales invoices, follow up on customer payments and outstanding balances, and process supplier invoices and payments.
- Prepare payment vouchers and receipts; coordinate warehouse stock reconciliation, track inventory costs and margins, and support periodic stock audits.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and 3–5 years of accounting experience.
- Distribution or trading company experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Odoo, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and understanding of UAE VAT regulations.
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
Work location
- In-person work in Dubai, UAE.
Pay
- AED 5,000–7,000 per month.
