About This Role
Overview
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our electromechanical service provider company in the UAE.
- The candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, managing project-related accounts, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations, and supporting management with financial reporting and budgeting.
- The ideal candidate should have experience in contracting, MEP, maintenance, or electromechanical companies and possess strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices and ERP/accounting software.
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare supplier payments, customer invoices, receipts, and payment follow-ups.
- Maintain petty cash and conduct bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
- Monitor project costing, expenses, and profitability for ongoing projects.
- Coordinate with procurement and project departments for LPOs, invoices, and material costing.
- Prepare VAT reports and ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
- Assist with Corporate Tax documentation and financial compliance requirements in the UAE.
- Process payroll, leave salary, overtime, and employee reimbursements.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and inventory records.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Prepare cash flow statements, budgeting reports, and management MIS reports.
- Ensure all accounting records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, suppliers, and government authorities when required.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents, contracts, invoices, and receipts.
- Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per hour
