About This Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced UAE Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, purchase entries, supplier payments, and financial tracking using Tally and Excel.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, cost centre accounting, reconciliation, and contract-based financial monitoring.
Accounting & Tally Operations
- Record and maintain all purchase entries in Tally accurately and on time
- Post supplier invoices through Cost Centres and ensure proper ledger configuration
- Verify accounting entries, supporting documents, and approvals before posting
- Maintain accurate records of expenses, invoices, and payments related to ongoing projects
Purchase & Payment Coordination
- Coordinate with internal departments and management for purchase-related activities and payment processing
- Monitor supplier invoices, due payments, and outstanding balances
- Ensure all invoices comply with contract terms and approved budgets before processing
Reconciliation & Financial Monitoring
- Perform regular reconciliation between Tally records and Excel tracking sheets
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly
- Maintain supplier-wise purchase and payment tracking in Excel for management reporting
Contract & Financial Tracking
- Maintain and update detailed project and contract-related financial records including:
- Contract values
- Invoice details
- Payment status and records
- Security cheque details
- Percentage of work completed
- Retention amounts
- Advance recovery details
- Any other contractual or financial information required by management
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare periodic financial reports and payment summaries
- Organize and maintain accounting files and supporting documents
- Assist with audits, financial reviews, and management reporting when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of UAE accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Excel
- Experience with Cost Centre accounting and supplier reconciliation
- Good understanding of UAE accounting procedures and documentation standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, contracting, or project-based accounting
- Familiarity with contract tracking and project financial management
- Immediate joiners preferred
