Looking for part time Accountant weekly 8-9 hrs work
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced **Accountant** to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with **Zoho Books** and a strong foundation in accounting principles.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations using **Zoho Books**, including invoicing, bill payments, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and follow-up
- Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and support VAT return filings
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation
- Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls
- Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- **Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience**, preferably in the UAE
- **Proficiency in Zoho Books is required** — experience managing the full accounting cycle within the platform
- Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS) and UAE VAT regulations
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional certification
- Experience with other Zoho Finance apps (Zoho Expense, Zoho Payroll, Zoho Inventory)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
Expected hours: 9 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Al Karama
