Accountant (Account Receivable & Payable)

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full Accounts Receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, and payment reconciliation.
• Process Accounts Payable invoices, verify supporting documents, and prepare payments.
• Reconcile customer and vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve billing and payment issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum **2–5 years** of accounting experience with a focus on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of VAT and local financial regulations.
• Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
