Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented **Accountant** to manage daily accounting activities and ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain financial records and prepare reports
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and petty cash
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing
- Prepare VAT filings and ensure UAE VAT compliance
- Prepare Corporate Tax filing
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)
- Support budgeting and audits as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-2 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT
- Experience with Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems
- Strong Excel skills
- CPA/ACCA/CA is a plus but not required
- Fluent in English
