Accountant
About This Role
Key Responsibilities:
Record and analyze financial transactions accurately and timely.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries.
Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Manage VAT calculations, filings, and compliance according to local regulations..
Prepare and submit corporate tax returns and ensure timely payments.
Monitor budgets and expenses.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including VAT and corporate tax laws.
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation related to taxes.
Maintain and update accounting systems and software.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Collaborate with tax advisors and auditors as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role, with knowledge of VAT and corporate tax regulations.
Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Excel).
Knowledge of VAT procedures, filings, and compliance requirements
Familiarity with corporate tax laws and filing procedures.
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
