Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting management with timely financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
This role supports the financial health of the organization through budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and timely tax submissions (e.g., VAT).
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and solid knowledge of accounting principles to support informed decision-making and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all accounting entries.
- Manage and coordinate accounting procedures and financial operations for GCC branches, including the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely processing of invoices.
- **Prepare tax returns, VAT filings, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.**
- Monitor budgets and assist in preparing financial forecasts and reports.
- Assist with audits and implement recommendations for improved financial controls.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial data and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Use accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, SAP Ariba) for day-to-day tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE
- **Must have experience in UAE VAT filing, including preparation, submission, and compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA)

- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GCC accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
