Job Summary
Dunes Decor is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the company’s financial health.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and hands-on experience using Zoho accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes
- Monitor cash flow and financial transactions
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
- Use Zoho Books (or other Zoho finance tools) for daily accounting operations and reporting
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- **Mandatory experience with Zoho Books (or Zoho Finance suite)**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or CMA) is an advantage
- Experience in retail, interior design, or home décor industry is a plus
