Overview
We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive
Accountant
to support the financial operations of a leading investment holding group in Abu Dhabi.
This role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a multi entity environment and has strong exposure to
financial reporting, controls, and investment driven accounting
.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance across the Group’s diverse portfolio of businesses.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records for the Group and its subsidiaries in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Handle month end, quarter end, and year end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in coordination with senior finance leadership.
- Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, including VAT filings and documentation.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and external advisors to support audits, reviews, and financial queries.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and receivables across multiple entities.
- Enhance internal controls, accounting processes, and reporting efficiency across the Group.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in
- Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- ; professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CA) are advantageous.
- **5 years of experience**
- in accounting or finance, ideally within an
- investment holding group, family office, or diversified corporate structure or Big Four (PwC, KPMG, Deloitte, EY).
- Strong knowledge of
IFRS
- , financial reporting, and multi entity accounting.
- Experience with audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting in the UAE.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel; ERP experience is an advantage.
