Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 3–4 years of experience in the retail sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations across multiple branches (14 locations) and ensuring full compliance with UAE tax regulations, including VAT.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations for 14 retail branches
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and tax filing requirements
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) guidelines
- Monitor inventory accounting and stock reconciliation
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes
- Ensure proper documentation and internal controls across all branches
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail industry
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and tax compliance
- Experience handling multi-branch accounting operations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
