URGENT HIRING – Accountant (5+ Years Experience)
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced **Accountant** to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, with proven experience in **construction and/or consulting firms**.
Proficiency in **QuickBooks** is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process monthly payroll and ensure timely salary payments
- Maintain payroll records, employee deductions, benefits, and leave balances
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, payroll requirements, tax obligations, and financial policies
- Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping, payroll processing, reporting, and financial analysis
- Assist with audits, financial reviews, and regulatory reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of **5 years of accounting experience**
- Strong proficiency in **QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)**
- Experience processing payroll and maintaining payroll records
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting
- Experience working in **construction and/or consulting companies** is required
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
