Role overview
The company operates in the nutrition industry in Qatar and is seeking an Accountant.
Hardware and software necessary for the work will be provided.
Key responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Process payroll and handle tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Conduct monthly inventory management and reconciliation.
- Assist with year-end closing and audits.
Job specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; a master's degree in a related field is preferred.
- At least one year of accounting experience is specified; three years is listed as preferred elsewhere in the posting.
- Strong accounting-principles knowledge and proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
- English fluency is required; Arabic is a plus.
- Must be able to join immediately and be based in Doha, Qatar.
Salary
- Salary is QAR 3,000–4,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications; described as a full package.
