Role Overview

Accounting Operations

• Handle complete day-to-day accounts of the printing press.
• Prepare sales invoices, purchase entries, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Maintain customer and supplier ledgers and follow up outstanding receivables and payables.
• Reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, supplier statements, and customer accounts.

Costing and Inventory

• Prepare and maintain job-wise costing for paper, printing, finishing, lamination, die-cutting, foiling, binding, and other production costs.
• Monitor inventory of paper, printing materials, and other consumables.
• Maintain accurate records of expenses and production or job costs.

Reporting and Tax

• Prepare monthly profit and loss reports and management reports.
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and ensure VAT compliance.
• Verify input and output VAT and maintain supporting tax invoices and documents.
• Assist with audit requirements and year-end closing.

Coordination and Records

• Coordinate with production, sales, and management regarding job costing, invoices, and payments.
• Maintain proper accounting records in accordance with UAE regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in printing, advertising, signage, or manufacturing.
• Strong practical experience in UAE VAT filing is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of job costing, inventory accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar software.
• Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax is advantageous.
• Candidates with previous printing press experience in the UAE are preferred.
• A Master's degree is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 2,000–4,500 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person in Dubai.

Employment

• The position is full-time.
