OESA Trading FZCO is the local representative of a large Swiss Group active in the Oil & Gas.
We are currently looking for a Trade Accountant who will support the Finance Manager and carry out the financial transactions and reporting.
Under the supervision of Controlling department, the Trade Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording, reconciliation and reporting of trading and transactions in compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
On his role, the Trade Accountant will work with traders, operators, middle office and finance teams to perform his duties.
Technical Responsabilities
- Assist in managing and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, including income, expenses and assets
- Assist operators and trader keeping an updated trading database, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper accounting entries.
- Handle payment processing and tracking of overhead expenses with Treasury department.
- Manage interfaces and booking entries in ERP accounting system.
- Assist and fill accurate figures in reporting system.
- Dress a monthly report with variance explanations vs. budget.
- Prepare financial documents, such as invoices, expenses reports, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist on trade physical intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare month-end and year-end close process.
- Collaborate with Finance team on budgeting, forecasting and periodic financial reports.
- Prepare and manage e-invoicing processes.
- Prepare and fill tax declarations, Corporate tax and VAT.
- Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation for Internal Control System.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Liaise with external auditors.
- Contribute to migration project to new CTRM system.
- Other accounting and administrative tasks as required.
Skills
- Proven experience in finance/accounting, and taxes for minimum of 2 years in UAE;
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field is a plus;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to meet deadlines;
- Basic understanding of financial principles and procedures;
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED6,500.00 to AED10,000.00 per month
