About This Role

Job Description We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic financial team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Ideal candidates should have strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented outlook and exceptional problem-solving capabilities. You will prepare financial forecasts, reports, and statements that support decision-making processes within the company. Being a part of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Your contributions will aid the organization's financial standing and strategic initiatives, as well as foster an environment of trust and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough monthly, quarterly, and annual closings on a timely basis.
• Compile accurate financial statements and reports for management use and review.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and financial risks.
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Counsel.
• Ensure compliant and timely submission of financial statements and tax returns.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes diligently.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting activities annually.
• Maintain documentation of financial transactions according to internal policies.
• Prepare and submit statutory and management financial statements consistently.
• Identify and address financial discrepancies through detailed investigation.
• Support financial department during strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field mandatory.
• Proven work experience in accounting or related financial role required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including IFRS.
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage confidential financial information with integrity and honesty.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for financial reporting.
• Attention to detail and good analytical skills to identify financial trends.
