Accountant

About This Role

We are seeking an Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting Team at Impact , reporting directly to the Accounting Manager . This role focuses on managing the company’s accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy of financial records, timely reporting, and full compliance with internal financial policies and accounting standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of handling accounting responsibilities independently with a high level of accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and review daily accounting entries in accordance with accounting standards
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records
• Issue invoices to clients, partners, and vendors in line with company policies
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on collections to support cash flow
• Process payments, expenses, and payroll in coordination with the finance team
• Prepare and maintain tax schedules and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Coordinate with internal departments on financial requirements and documentation
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and operational efficiency
• Provide financial data and analytical reports to support management decisions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or financial operations
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
• High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Good command of English , both written and verbal

Preferred Skills:

• xperience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite or similar)
• Familiarity with financial controls and internal audit procedures
• Ability to prepare structured financial reports for management
