Role Description
The Account Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, maintaining regular contact, and addressing inquiries to ensure a high level of satisfaction and retention.
Day-to-day tasks include processing orders, tracking deliveries, coordinating with internal departments, and resolving account issues in a timely manner.
The Account Specialist will monitor account performance, prepare basic financial or sales reports, and ensure accurate documentation of all transactions and communications.
The role also involves identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, supporting credit control activities, and contributing to continuous improvements in account management processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Account Management skills, including handling multiple accounts, maintaining accurate records, and building long-term business relationships.
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to respond promptly, clearly, and professionally to client needs.
- Solid Analytical Skills to review account data, identify trends or issues, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Basic to intermediate Finance knowledge to understand invoices, payment terms, and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP or CRM systems.(Zoho)
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in trading, distribution, or a similar commercial environment is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; additional languages commonly used in the region are beneficial.
