Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Account Manager role based in Dubai.

The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact to ensure service excellence and timely resolution of issues.

Responsibilities include understanding client logistics needs, preparing service proposals, coordinating with operations and dispatch teams, and monitoring service performance against agreed KPIs.

The role will involve regular account reviews, contract renewals, and upselling or cross-selling relevant services to support customer growth.

The Account Manager will also analyze shipment and performance data, prepare reports for clients and management, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong client relationship management and account management skills, with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and handle escalations professionally.
  • Proficiency in communication, including clear verbal and written English, presentation skills, and the ability to explain logistics solutions to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in logistics, courier, freight, or supply chain operations, with an understanding of express delivery, service levels, and basic pricing concepts.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including comfort working with data, KPIs, and reports to identify trends and propose improvements.
  • Effective organizational and time-management abilities, with a track record of handling multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competence in using CRM systems and standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email) to manage accounts and prepare client materials.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in an account management, customer success, or sales support role, preferably within the GCC region, is highly beneficial.
  • Comfort working on-site in Dubai and collaborating with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
