Overview

About the Role: The Account Management Specialist manages a portfolio of strategic and enterprise merchants, driving long-term growth, retention, and product adoption across accounts.

Acting as a trusted advisor, the specialist is responsible for developing account strategies, identifying revenue opportunities, and delivering data-driven recommendations that maximize merchant performance and business outcomes.

This role requires strong commercial acumen, analytical capabilities, and stakeholder management skills.

The Account Management Specialist is expected to operate independently, lead strategic merchant conversations, influence decision-making, and drive the adoption of Tabby's full product suite.

The role also plays a key part in cross-functional initiatives, process improvements, and strategic projects that support broader business objectives.

Strategic Account Management

  • Own and manage a portfolio of strategic and enterprise merchants, driving retention, growth, and long-term partnership success.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and act as a trusted advisor to merchants.
  • Develop and execute account growth plans aligned with merchant objectives and Tabby's commercial strategy.

Revenue Growth & Product Expansion

  • Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and expansion of Tabby's products and services.
  • Identify opportunities to increase product penetration across the portfolio, including new and existing solutions.
  • Lead commercial discussions and proactively position relevant products based on merchant needs and performance insights.
  • Own pipeline generation within the portfolio and track expansion opportunities through to execution.

Data Analytics & Portfolio Optimization

  • Analyze merchant performance, transaction trends, conversion metrics, and product adoption to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Translate complex datasets into actionable recommendations that improve merchant performance and revenue contribution.
  • Conduct portfolio reviews, business reviews, and strategic performance discussions with merchants.
  • Build dashboards, reports, and presentations to support data-driven decision-making.

Strategic Projects & Business Initiatives

  • Lead and contribute to strategic initiatives, product launches, operational improvements, and merchant experience enhancements.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation and scalability initiatives across the business.
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams on high-impact commercial and operational projects.

Merchant Success & Problem Resolution

  • Proactively identify merchant challenges and business risks before they impact performance.
  • Take ownership of complex merchant escalations and coordinate stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
  • Ensure merchants receive strategic recommendations and solutions that support continued growth.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Tech teams to deliver merchant solutions and achieve business objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of coordination for strategic merchant initiatives requiring cross-functional involvement.
  • Influence internal stakeholders and drive alignment to achieve successful merchant outcomes.
