Role overview

Account growth and client leadership

• Set account vision and annual plans, identify growth opportunities, proactively create client value, and oversee account financial health.
• Develop strategic client relationships, ensure customer satisfaction through delivery, and build trusted-advisor relationships.
• Carry revenue, bookings, and operating-margin targets; help resolve people-management issues within Wipro teams.
• Generate leads through customer engagement across lines of business and expand Wipro's footprint.
• Prepare and present proactive proposals and responses to RFPs and RFIs.
• Coordinate with customer procurement and supplier-relations teams on contracts, invoices, and payments.
• Work with senior customer leaders, including CIOs, VPs, and directors, to advise on and advance business growth.

Experience and capabilities

• At least 15 years of experience selling IT services in Tier-1 or Tier-2 competitive organizations.
• Strong knowledge of global delivery models and methodologies, with familiarity cross-selling service lines.
• Ability to present and interact at all levels and demonstrate consultative sales capability.
• Ability to collaborate across service-line teams and anchor them together for an account.
• Exposure to delivery, sales, or pre-sales roles is required.
• Experience managing a multimillion-dollar account across multiple geographies.
• Strong account-management experience building and managing client relationships at all levels.
