Job Summary – Account Executive (Medical Insurance Department)
The Account Executive is responsible for providing medical insurance advisory services, preparing quotations, managing policy administration, and supporting individual and corporate clients.
The role also involves coordinating with insurers, maintaining client records, ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE regulations, and delivering excellent customer service.
Client Advisory
- Assess clients' healthcare insurance needs and recommend appropriate medical insurance plans from multiple insurers.
- Explain policy benefits, exclusions, limits, and terms and conditions.
- Provide professional advice on effective coverage options.
Quotation & Policy Placement
- Obtain quotations from various insurance companies. Good knowledge of all the insurance portals and tools as per UAE regulations.
- Compare benefits, pricing, and network providers.
- Prepare comparison reports for clients, negotiate premiums and coverage with insurers where applicable.
- Arrange policy issuance upon client confirmation.
- Creating a positive on-boarding experience for new clients.
Policy Administration
- Process new business applications and discuss with the Manager on the prospects.
- Coordinate policy renewals and discuss with the Manager on the workflow.
- Ensure timely issuance of policy documents.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Individual And Corporate Medical Insurance Management
- Manage individual/employee medical insurance schemes.
- Assist clients/ HR departments with policy administration.
- Follow escalation matrix with respective Insurer and address the client’s concerns.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Develope good working relationships with insurance companies.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Compliance
- Maintain confidentiality of client information, handle CRM.
- Follow internal brokerage policies and procedures. Keep updated with new insurance products and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Insurance , or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem- solving abilities.
- Reporting to the Manager - Medical Department
- (Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.)
