Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications strategies for technology and AI sectors, aligned with organizational goals.
• Build relationships with local, regional, and international technology media and manage media engagements.
• Create thought-leadership content, including white papers, opinion pieces, and keynote speeches.
• Coordinate external technology PR, digital marketing, and branding agencies to ensure consistent messaging.
• Oversee English and Arabic press releases, speeches, presentations, and other communications materials.
• Maintain the organization’s brand identity across channels and campaigns.
• Lead crisis communications and timely responses to protect organizational reputation.
• Track campaign effectiveness, report performance, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications and skills

• 10+ years of communications agency or in-house experience focused on technology, AI, or innovation-driven industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong understanding of local and regional technology and AI landscapes, with established industry relationships.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, including expert command of grammar and AP style.
• Proven communications strategy capability and ability to manage cross-functional collaboration.
• Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency with communication tools, media monitoring platforms, and project management software.
• A master’s degree, technology- or AI-related certifications, and familiarity with AI tools for content creation and analytics are pluses.
