Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in security or aviation-related fields is preferred.
  • Proven experience in security, access control, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of TSA regulations.
  • Ability to operate security screening equipment and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in CPR, First Aid, or other relevant emergency response training.
  • Previous experience working in an airport or similar high-security environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and security software for access control purposes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in security or aviation-related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor access points and checkpoints within designated aircraft areas.
  • Verify credentials and identification of individuals seeking access to restricted zones.
  • Operate security screening equipment and conduct searches as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of personnel movements and access permissions.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and airport authorities during security breaches or threats.
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections of access control points.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to airport employees, contractors, and visitors.
