Job summary
Maintain hotel air-conditioning systems and guest rooms to support smooth hotel operations.
Full-time role with in-person work location.
Key responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair split, cassette, and central air-conditioning systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine AC-unit inspections; monitor cooling performance and system efficiency.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and check refrigerant levels, compressors, filters, coils, thermostats, and drainage systems.
- Respond to guest-room complaints and departmental maintenance requests.
- Maintain service records, reports, and equipment logs; coordinate major repairs and breakdowns with the Engineering team.
- Follow hotel safety and maintenance procedures, conserve energy, and handle refrigerants properly.
Skills and competencies
- Good knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and timely response to maintenance emergencies.
- Teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and service excellence.
Experience and qualification
- One to three years in a similar role is preferred.
- ITI or Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC), or an equivalent technical qualification, is listed.
Pay
- ₹17,000–₹21,000 per month.
