Role Description
The AC Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The AC Technician will install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various air conditioning and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial properties.
Daily tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing routine and preventive maintenance, checking electrical connections, monitoring refrigerant levels, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.
The role also involves responding to service calls, documenting work performed, coordinating with supervisors and team members, and following company procedures and safety standards.
The technician is expected to provide professional, customer-focused service and contribute to timely, high-quality project completion.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving AC system issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of plumbing related to HVAC systems, including condensate drainage and connections.
- Experience in preventive maintenance for air conditioning units and related equipment.
- Solid understanding of electricity and electrical safety in relation to HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with EPA or equivalent environmental and refrigerant handling standards and best practices.
- Previous experience as an AC Technician or in HVAC maintenance, preferably in residential and commercial settings.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and wiring diagrams, and use diagnostic tools and measuring instruments.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and willingness to work flexible hours, including emergency call-outs.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field; UAE experience and valid driving license will be helpful.
