Requirements
- Education and Certificate Requirements:
- Transport Canada Bridge Watch Rating Certificate of Competency
- STCW MED BS & PSC
- Ship Personnel with Designated Security Duties Certificate
- Marine Basic First Aid and CPR
- Valid Canadian Passport
- Valid Canadian Seafarers Medical
- Experience / Knowledge:
- Experience in OSV operations including Anchor Handling and Towing is required
- Experience on large AHTS vessels will be considered an asset
- Possess a high commitment to safe working practices and working as a team
- Ability to read, write, understand and speak English
- Self-starter, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. DOF maintains the right to request a criminal background check as a part of the recruitment process.
