Job Overview:
The McQueen Boutique is looking for a talented and creative Abaya Designer with strong experience in the UAE market. The ideal candidate will have a passion for modest fashion and the ability to design elegant, contemporary, and high-quality abayas that align with our brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design stylish, trend-driven abayas
- Develop collections (sketches, fabrics, embellishments)
- Select suitable fabrics, colors, and trims
- Work with tailors to ensure quality production and finishing
- Conduct fittings and make design adjustments when needed
- Stay updated on UAE fashion trends and customer preferences
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of UAE experience in abaya design
- Strong portfolio of abaya/modest wear
- Knowledge of fabrics, embellishments, and garment construction
- Ability to sketch designs (manual or digital)
- Creative with strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Fashion design qualification
- Experience in boutique or luxury abaya brands
