Help Ensure Every Child Receives the Quality Care They Deserve
Great ABA services depend on more than therapy sessions alone.
They depend on accurate, complete, and compliant documentation that helps clinical teams make informed decisions and ensures children receive the support they need to thrive.
We're looking for an ABA Documentation & Quality Assurance Specialist to help maintain the quality, accuracy, and integrity of our clinical records.
In this role, you'll partner with BCBAs, RBTs, and administrative teams to review documentation, strengthen compliance, and support continuous improvement across the organization.
This is not a software QA role.
It's a specialized ABA-focused position for someone who understands clinical documentation, compliance requirements, and the critical role documentation plays in delivering exceptional care.
What You'Ll Do
- Review ABA session notes, supervision notes, assessments, treatment plans, and other clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Identify missing information, inconsistencies, and documentation concerns
- Follow up with clinicians and team members to resolve documentation issues
- Ensure records meet company policies, payer requirements, and compliance standards
- Provide professional and constructive feedback to BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical staff
- Monitor documentation quality and promote consistency across clinical records
- Analyze documentation trends and quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to strengthen documentation workflows and processes
- Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready records
- Support ongoing compliance initiatives and quality improvement efforts
- Handle confidential client information with professionalism, discretion, and care
What You Bring
- Previous experience working in the ABA field
- Strong understanding of ABA terminology, clinical documentation, and service delivery
- Experience reviewing, auditing, or managing ABA-related documentation
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to identify documentation errors, inconsistencies, and compliance concerns
- Ability to provide clear, professional, and supportive feedback
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement
Preferred
- Experience in documentation review, compliance, quality improvement, or clinical record auditing
- BCBA, BCaBA, RBT, or ABA administrative experience
- Experience with ABA practice management software, EMR systems, or electronic documentation platforms
- Familiarity with insurance requirements, authorizations, and ABA documentation standards
Why This Role Matters
Success in this role means documentation remains accurate, compliant, and audit-ready, allowing clinical teams to focus on delivering exceptional care.
Your work will help strengthen compliance, improve operational efficiency, and ensure clinicians have the information they need to support children and families effectively.
By maintaining the quality and integrity of clinical records, you'll play a direct role in supporting better outcomes for the children and families we serve.
